- Description
We're looking for a talented and experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing team! You'll play a pivotal role in the maintenance, growth and support of the cloud infrastructure that delivers services to all customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Maintenance, which includes system performance monitoring, system backups, and proactive PROBLEM management.
- Infrastructure Projects: planning, testing, and execution of new builds/upgrades/updates/moves and changes.
- Infrastructure Support: troubleshooting and incident resolution for tickets escalated by 1st Line Engineers.
- Infrastructure Change Control, including planning, submission, and execution of all changes agreed to as per published Change Control Processes
- Infrastructure Administration including creation and maintenance of documentation as and when required including but not limited to Architecture diagrams, maintenance schedules, support documentation and version control registers.
- IT Management: asset registration, equipment version control, equipment configuration to agreed standards, and general IT support for users.
- PROBLEM Management: proactively identify solutions to recurring or known issues to minimize the impact on services.
Requirements:
- 3 years of working experience as an Infrastructure Engineer
- National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology
- Microsoft Server Certification
- Linux Certification
- Dell SAN/Server Administration
- VOIP / SIP
- Helpdesk and Support Experience
- Disaster Recovery/Risk Management
- Firewall / Security Experience
