Salesforce Tech Lead (Senior Developer)

Swan iT is searching for a Salesforce Developer Lead to join a client  in Johannesburg. This individual will be responsible for leading the team on designing, building, and implementing customised solutions on the platform. This role will have day-to-day management of our Salesforce technical team, onshore and offshore.

Responsibilities:

• Map functional requirements to Salesforce features and functionality.


• Disseminate best practices on solution positioning and delivery.


• Lead the development team and ensure code standards and guidelines are adhered to.


• Responsible for the quality of the work being done by the team(s)


• Review team’s code


• Review team’s Pull Requests


• Approve User Stories in Copado for promotion to SIT.


• Design solutions based on business requirements.


• Develop solutions based on design.


• Be available to the development team when they have questions or are stuck with a problem.


• When needed, create a technical solution design and present at Technical Design Authority


• Demo solution and show how it was built at Technical Solution Review session.

Requirements:

• 5+ years Salesforce experience


• Salesforce Developer certifications


• Copado certifications


• Experience in managing a development team.


• Proficiency in Salesforce development languages like Apex and Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL).


• Knowledge of platform limits, governor limits, and best practices for efficient code development


• Understanding HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.


• Experience with Salesforce integration techniques, including REST and SOAP APIs.
