Are you a highly skilled Unified Communications & Collaboration Platform Engineer looking for your next challenge? Look no further!
Our client is searching for a UCC Platform Engineer to join them for a 24month contract based in Cape Town.
Responsibilities:
- Fulfill UCC orders including SIP trunks, HPBX, MPBX, Contact Centre, Webex, Operator Connect, MS Teams, Direct Connect, Call Recording, Hunt Lines, and Mobile Number Porting (MNP).
- Manage the setup and discontinuation of UCC services, ensuring seamless operations and minimal downtime.
- Utilize deep technical knowledge to manage and configure SIP trunks, Hunt Lines, HPBX, and other UCC products.
- Leverage experience with NetAxis self-care portal, APIO, and BroadWorks to ensure efficient UCC service delivery.
- Configure and troubleshoot Yealink and Polycom phones to support UCC platforms.
- Maintain and apply knowledge from certifications such as CCNA, Ribbon SBC, BroadWorks, WebEx technical certification, and CallCabinet training.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for UCC services, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Utilize Audio Codes and other relevant tools to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in IT
- At least 6 years of experience in UCC Services provisioning and management
- Experience with SIP trunks, Hunt Lines, and HPBX.
- Strong prior experience with NetAxis self-care portal, APIO, and BroadWorks
- Hands-on experience with Yealink and Polycom phones
- Valid CNN Certification
