Swan IT is currently searching for a SAP Business Warehouse (BW) Developer to join a client in Johannesburg.
As the SAP BW Developer, you will be responsible for providing BW Development, functional and process support to finance business users on the usage of finance applications and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Perform functional BW configuration, development, and support work for business users on the usage of finance applications and systems.
- Configure the solution on the BW application according to user requirements.
- Support agile new ways of work (nWoW) development across various work streams to enable optimal and accurate delivery of financial business solutions.
- Build and maintain customer relationships.
- Ensure active stakeholder management and engagement across multiple business units.
- Provide knowledge transfer internally within the BW development and operational support team and externally within Finance Technology and the finance user base.
- Promote best practices for tool use and develop related process and technical documentation.
- Provide input to technical and functional standards.
- Develop enhancements to current processes to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Agree the scope with business and product owners.
- Perform allocated tasks to ensure that projects are completed on time.
- Ensure integration with the other process areas.
- Deliver major work requests according to user requirement priority.
Requirements:
- Degree in Information Technology or Computer Sciences
- SAP BW and SAP Data Services Certification
- 3 years’ experience analysing business user information requirements or problems and develop solutions according to business quality and delivery time expectations
- 3 years’ experience in supporting BW solutions and assisting Finance business users in effective usage of tools available to extract relevant information for the finance user base
- 5 years’ experience analysing business user data requirements and extract translate and load business information solutions according to business delivery expectations
